older style general purpose / hunting saddle with wool flocked panels.
This saddle has been well used but very well looked after. It is in good condition
for its age and usage with no damage or marks other than the usual wear from the stirrup leathers
and area of scratching to the leather (see inset photo).
The scratching to
the seat has not penetrated the leather and is not visible when in use
so does not affect the saddles use or soundness.
The fitting of
this saddle would probably best be suited to rounder flat backed cob /
native pony types.
A great saddle for anyone looking for a
good quality English leather saddle
for every day use or as a starter saddle but on a tight budget.
