| This is a top quality German Leather Saddle by
leading makers G.Passier & Son.
This is an older Passier PS-Baum Dressage / W.H. Saddle.
It does show some signs of wear and
has had a couple of minor repairs done to the leatherwork on one knee
roll under the saddle flap and some new stitch work but is in overall
very good condition with plenty of use still left in it.
The saddle has three girth straps
either side that are suitable for use with a standard length girth.
The leather has been well cared for
and there area no major flaws but it does have some damp spotting and a
scrape to the cantle (see inset photo). The damp spotting could
probably be worked out of the leather with little bit of polish and
leather oil but is not really seem when a ride is in the saddle.
Features a cutback pommel so very
well suited to high withered TB / TB type horses.
Passier saddles retail at well over
£1000 so if you are looking for good quality saddle to start off doing
dressage or simply a good "work saddle" for serious dressage training
then this is a bargain.
